Did you know that the word 'share' derives from the Old English word for 'shear' which means to cut or divide? To share with others means to divide your burden. Each time you share, you leave another little piece of the weight of your burden with them. ~Pocket Sponsor
This day I am grateful...
- I woke with plenty of time to pray, read, meditate and write before I go have blood drawn for routine lab work
- for a quiet, restful holiday weekend
- that today I am ready to return to my usual routine
- that I continue to eek out growth despite my own encumbrances
- that the road was narrow this weekend but I didn't land in the ditch

Wow, I was told by a long time AA man this week end to remember to share my burden. Being seasoned, I guess he could see I still fall into thinking I can do it alone.
Do you attend another artist to have your blood drawn? Or can you draw and paint your own blood as in a self-portrait?
I'm at work now. I don't remember what it was that I was so anxious to get back to :(
Good ole Oscar Wilde.
Glad that you had a relaxing weekend. I can finally feel a little bit of fall in the air.
Yes, (Syd), a little hint of a wintry breeze has worked its way down to SW FL, high tomorrow is only 89 deg F. BUT, it's really chilly at 5:30AM, doing 65 mph on a bike before sunup. I have to wear a shirt, for gosh sakes!
And I do that alone, can't find anyone to get up that early to 'share the burden'...(Lou)!!! -g-
Glad you stayed on the narrow road.
i love that oscar wilde quote, it's the truth.
Sorry to hear about the tough weekend.
Fascination insight into sharing.
Love to you
