IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Learning to understand and pay attention to what our self needs will in turn allow us to fill our lives with unlimited loving and healing energy and to truly take care of the things that mean the most to us. ~Daily Om
Today I am grateful...
  • that the program of AA has allowed so many people to heal relationships with their families
  • for the lovely dinner and conversation last night with an old friend and her new acquaintance
  • for all the low maintenance relationships in my life
  • that this morning the world started itself all over again
  • that tomorrow is Bob S's 85th birthday!
Your thoughts have great influence on your life. So get them working in your favor. Those things you've convinced yourself you cannot do, you will not do. By the same token, whatever you're absolutely certain that you can accomplish, you will indeed accomplish. Your thoughts directly and persistently control your actions. And through your actions, you create much of the reality of your life. Every achievement begins with a thought. And every achievement is supported all along the way by a continuous flow of positive, empowering thoughts. You won't make something happen just by thinking about it. Yet the things you do cause to happen are those things upon which your thoughts are steadily focused. Fill your mind with thoughts of positive purpose, joy, and meaningful achievement. Let your thoughts lead the way to the life of your dreams. ~Ralph Marston (emphasis mine)

A beautiful gratitude list; especially the first one.

Scott- I missed Dave's post re his mum. Please tell Dave if you boys bump into each other to phone if wants to (although I'm sure he has lots of folk around him). My BlackBerry number is the same as when he was over here. Shout if it's lost/deleted.

Take it easy, fella.

I even have a low-maintenance relationship with mySELF. ...And I may not even be joking, now that I'm thinking about it!
