IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

There was nothing left for us but to pick up the simple kit of spiritual tools laid at our feet by Alcoholics Anonymous. By doing so, we have a spiritual experience which revolutionizes our whole attitude toward life, toward others, and toward God's universe. ~Bill W
Today I am grateful...
  • that I have prayed Micky/Patrick out of my life. I will no longer leave him any comments nor will I refer to him in any way. He is dead to me.
  • that today many things are as they always have been, but I seem to have an easier time seeing them
  • that sobriety can be difficult work (even exhausting), but it is definitely the easier, softer way
  • that gratitude is self-propelling
  • that there are some things I will never know or understand

The moment a thing seems wrong to you or a person's actions to be not what you think they should be, at that moment begins your obligation and responsibility to pray for those wrongs to be righted or that person to be changed. What is wrong in your surroundings or in the people you know? Think about these things and make these matters your responsibility. Not to interfere or be a busybody, but to pray that a change may come through your influence. You may see lives altered and evils banish. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day

I had to "comment moderate" the shape shifting reptile out of my life. So now he's dead to me too.
