Today I am grateful...
- that I have the money to pay my outrageous electric bill this month
- for the incredibly powerful episode of 30 Days where Morgan Spurlock spent 30 days on the Navajo Reservation. What we have done to native Americans is unconscionable. Example: A drinking water pipeline runs through the reservation that provides water for Arizona and New Mexico, yet many Navajos do not have running water. It was a beautiful in that it showed their spirituality and sense of community. And the landscapes--the desert and the incredible sky--move me like none other.
- for my 1989 visit to Monument Valley. I have never had a place affect me so deeply.
- for my belief in reincarnation and how it has affected my view of life in the human body

My electric bill was outrageous also. But ya know.....WE ARE OUTRAGEOUS ALSO.
I guess that living in the south means we get outrageous summer bills but the winter ones are fairly kind. Hope that you have a great weekend.
Old song lyrics: "If it takes forever, I will wait for you..." and so I change "you" to "it"...and, well, I don't THINK so!
Gotta go after it. Sad to swing right past those "waiting" souls, but they'll come along, in time. In time.
