When you get right down to it, everyone who has done any amount of successful Twelfth Step work is bound to be the founder of a new life for other alcoholics. ~Bill W

Today I am grateful...
  • that today is sister So's last radiation treatment
  • for my late night chat with Piglet
  • that I spoke up when the cashier at Sears didn't offer me a 15% discount on my purchase by opening a charge account. Got $5.41 cents back--IN CASH! Free money! Yahoo!
  • that I actually answer the telephone without knowing who is on the other end
  • to watch Bunny and Belle play. There is such unbridled joy in their romping.
  • that I am one of a kind, but that does not distinguish me in a group of alcoholics because there I am just an ordinary drunk

All of us know more than any one of us. ~unknown source

I like that you know that you are one of a kind but have the humility of being the same within the fellowship. Also, glad that Trailboss has her last treatment.

Answering the phone was huge for me. When I was first sober(before caller ID) I used to always let it go to voice mail. Good for you.

Yahoo, pulling one over on Sears.
I've never gotten to see Theo play with another dog. He doesn't know how. :(

$5.41. Wow. Hey it's more than a gallon of gas. And good for So.

Yea for me! But I am so thankful it wasn't any worse than it was. I bought some avacados at Kroger the day before yesterday. When I got home I looked at the receipt and they cost $2.59 a piece! I took them back the next day and got my money back. he he
