IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

07.09.08

Life is sculpted on a moment-to-moment basis. Every one of the thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the actions we take contributes to the complex quality and character of the universe’s unfolding. It simply is not possible to be alive without making an impact on the world that surrounds us. Every action taken affects the whole as greatly as every action not taken. And when it comes to making the world a better place, what we choose not to do can be just as important as what we choose to do. ~Daily Om
Today I am grateful...
  • to have had a goof off night last night. I didn't accomplish anything, except staying sober and happy.
  • that I am creative and hopeful
  • for a fairly simple and uncomplicated life
  • that today is full of potential smiles

Do you want to understand what has happened? Help another to understand. ~Pocket Sponsor

Scott,
Thanks for stopping by. You reminded me it's out of my hands. That's so hard considering, but I need to give it up to him to handle. I'm glad you have been symptom free and are feeling better! Jenn

Thanks for reminding me what I come here for. I thought your picture yesterday didn't suit your blog, like making fun of drunks, it's not nice Scott- it's all the same "ism" isn't it? I love your blog, truly and use it to feed me if you'll pardon the pun.

Hi, I love to just goof off. Probably too much.

I happened across your blog with a google search on gratitude. I'm finding myself entirely too engrossed in what is lacking these days which is a heavy weight for the soul to carry. Being a firm believer in the power of perception I googled "gratitude". Finding your blog was serendipitous indeed.

Checking in with you,Scott, and found an optimistic & grateful message as always.Sometimes I don't remember the "common sense" of life, and your quotes are a lovely reminder.
