He who climbs the mountain of self-awareness and purification finds, at the top, the place where heaven and earth meet, and a view of life that is blessed and holy. ~Julie Redstone
Today I am grateful...
- that today I am no longer afraid I will jinx myself by what I say or do
- that today I feel like I have led a charmed life. I didn't say it was always charming.
- that I can be patient when Yahoo! email will not open for an hour
- for the WE of the program
- that someone close to me is wearing fancy shoes today and used a shoe horn this morning
- that the very loud Mocking bird at my back door waited until I woke to start its chatter
May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love
that has been given to you....
May you be content knowing you are a child of God....
Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the
freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us. ~St. Teresa

Enjoy today while you're still 23 years old.
well I know it's not me in the fancy shoes, plus I don't know how to play a shoe horn...I never really liked the woodwinds, I'm more of a "strings" kinda girl.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I am just breathing in the peace here Scott!! Thanks Have a terrific Friday- you just always make me smile
Dear Scott,
I am glad you are well and happy. I do not know what scare SO skirted but I am so glad that all is well !
I like the quote of Mother Teresa.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Love to you
When I would visit my friend Suzanne in Spain, there was a humongous ficus tree right outside my window. There were hundreds of birds that roosted in the tree each night, and they all woke up at the butt-crack of dawn and told each other loudly what their plans were for the day.
I always enjoy your lists. I've been keeping a gratitude list myself... But it's always so boring...
Speaking of Mockingbirds. My Mother leaves raisins on her porch railing for the local Mockingbird.
She's named him Mockey...
Hope that you have a great weekend. I mostly wear jeans and don't own a shoe horn.
The quotes were right on for me today. Actually most days.
thanks for making me smile and feel special!
Thanks for reminding me about the importance of gratitude!
Hope you enjoy my post about Delayed Gratification!
I love you Scott.
