IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

No matter who the characters are in your story or what they have done, you are the only one who can give their actions the meaning they will have for you. You are the only one who can define what role you will play in your own life. By taking responsibility for your story, you are able to learn and grow, forgive and find compassion, and most importantly, move on into a brighter future. ~today's Daily Om
Today I am grateful...
  • that I used to not be able to understand the gift of creativity, now I find joy in it
  • for the change in the world George Carlin brought
  • to have watched Bunny as the play instigator this morning with Belle and Lucy
  • for all I have available to me today, so many gifts in this world
  • for the genius who invented air conditioning, Willis Haviland Carrier, the scheduled high today is 98ยบ
Enjoy life as it comes, in the precious moments of each day. Live your success and fulfillment here and now, not in some distant, imagined future. Keep in mind that most of the people who tell you how bad things are, seek to gain their own power or profit from your dismay. Life is good, life is rich, life is joyful and fulfilling to the extent you choose to make it so. Open your eyes, look around, and see how truly beautiful your world can be. Real success is yours the moment you begin to make it. ~Ralph Marston

I am lovin me some Mr Carrier items today. It's not supposed to get that hot here but it will be hot!

I was sad to hear of George Carlin's death. It seems there are so many people dying now that I watched or listened to as a kid. Kind of spooky!

They should have named an air conditioner after that guy.

did you know that if you traced back the single most important event that shaped the success of Houston Booming...it is A/C.
We would not have all the huge companies here without it.
Unfortunatly, I have on a sweater, because me office building is freezing everyday.

I don't think there are any carriers up here in these parts. I am wearing long jeans, wool socks, real shoes with toes in them, a long sleeve shirt and a jacket right now. And I am indoors! Funny, who knew Alaska would be chilly!

I like enjoying life as it comes. But I also like air conditioning.

One of the great attributes of being sober, for me, is the AWARENESS of all the wonders that surround me.
