Today I am grateful...
- that I met a rich and important collector yesterday and I was armed with some personal information about him and his wife and was able to chat him up. Before recovery I could not have been able to engage him as such. He ended up going over to look at my art and showed some interest.
- that I forced myself to brave the heat yesterday afternoon to get to the hardware store before they closed so I could get some lattice strips to cut for frames. (The store is closed on Sundays)
- that I have an art gathering to attend this afternoon
- that every day I have little victories I can celebrate
So, who are you? You are magnificent. You are genius. You are in the right place at the right time. You're doing just fine. 1. I never understood the "chat him up" phrase. It reminds me of parking in the woods as a teenager and getting "felt up".
2. YAHOO..you met someone with some "pull"...I want someone with some pull to see your art my friend.
