Almost anything you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it. ~Mohandas Gandhi
Today I am grateful...
- I have what I need for this day
- that the most drama I have in my life today occurs in my thoughts
- for all those that shared their bottoming out stories yesterday
- for the power of sobriety
- for the theological/political discussion after dinner last night
Gandhi, one of the greatest spiritual leaders of the twentieth century, said he felt that almost anything one can do will be insignificant. Yet to do something is very important. Each day, each chance is small but takes us in a direction. When we look back over the last month or last year, we may see that only remaining faithful to our program, one day at a time, has carried us a very long way. The kind of person we each become is just as important as what we accomplish in the world around us. ~Touchstones

I hope you have a drama-free, but not thought-free, day.
That is so true about the drama thing
I've already accomplished several insignificant things today!
Today adds up to an odd number.
Good stuff Scott. It is important to do something and to move in a positive direction. Having God on our side helps.
I love your drama/thoughts observation!
Here's an insignificant, but important comment for you. Thank you for the Gandhi quote. It gives me hope as I put one foot in front of the other today.
I love the drama observation too, I'm writing it down!
Yep, the power of sobriety is awsome.
HI Honey. Like what you wrote today. All of it.
I love to watch drama in others lives, I'm not so fond of it in my own.
I'm with you Pam. UGH
