Truly did a clergyman say to me, "Your misfortune has become your good fortune. You A.A.'s are privileged people." ~Bill W
Today I am grateful...
- that today being a holiday allowed me to stay up really late last night and paint to my heart's content
- for cold poached salmon with dilled tartar sauce and steamed asparagus with pimento and honey mustard vinaigrette
- that yesterday after a gallery visit I got the Titanium White I needed, got a new paint brush and canvas and ran into an old friend I haven't seen in 19 years
- that who knew Titanium White could be such a topic of conversation
- that I was delivered from a pitiful life and given a new, shiny one
"Don't take that first drink!" It reinforces the belief in the progressive nature of the disease, and it drives home the need for, and beauty of, humility in our spiritual program. Simple truths come in complicated ways to me when I become ego driven. ~Daily Reflections

The salmon is missing.
Who poached the salmon?
ar ar Daave.
I would poach it if it were nearby because it sure sounds good.
A whole conversation about Titanium White??? You need to come back to NYC! IMMEDIATELY!
I love your comment about Titanium White and also Todd's comment about it !!
Isn't it fun to have the awareness to appreciate a remark like that?
Like how late ??? lol
here, i'm going to give you the Very Spiritual Blog award - now you have three!
As I was outside mashing plants into pots and telling them "Now grow" I suddenly thought about how nice a martini would be. Those thoughts don't worry me now, because I just say "Yeah, but I drink coffee now, and I like that, too." I'm a recovering alcoholic, so I accept that those thoughts will arrive from time to time, and there's no need for worry unless I dwell on them.
Do we have more to say about Titanium White, or should we pick another color this week?
