Today I am grateful...
  • that the demanding, self-entitled, mean behavior I saw myself exhibiting last night was only in the dream I had while sleeping
  • that dream residual eventually goes away
  • that this morning I don't have to wait until 11 AM so I could sneak in and out of one of the liquor stores I used to frequent
  • that today I will work a little, nap a little and fellowship with some old friends
Some people, of course, may conclude that they are indeed ready to have all such defects taken from them. But even these people, if they construct a list of still milder defects, will be obliged to admit that they prefer to hang on to some of them. Therefore, it seems plain that few of us can quickly or easily become ready to aim at spiritual and moral perfection; we want to settle for only as much perfection as will get us by in life, according, of course, to our various and sundry ideas of what will get us by. So the difference between "the boys and the men" is the difference between striving for a self-determined objective and for the perfect objective, which is of God. ~Step 6 from the 12 & 12

My dreams often point out things I have been trying to ignore. Other times they're just entertainment, and they're cheaper than Netlflix.
Recurring themes in my dreams are:
•being in a high, precarious place
•exploring rooms in an unfamiliar house
•that I'm a world-famous artist with a little dog named Bunny

I had some weird dreams last night too. But my mind is on Kevin and Ryan now. Prayers for them for sure.

Love you more than you know So

My dream life is like a parallel universe with loads more drama. Thank God most of the drama is over there and not here.

Have a great weekend Scott.

I stopped by.
I did.
I really did.
It wasn't a dream.
Nor a nightmare.

I just woke up from a nap. I had a dream that I started a business selling hand painted bath towells.
But I would only paint in shades of blue, and I would tell people "no" if they wanted me to paint in any other color!
Enjoy your day jose'.

My favorite dreamm is pushing on the ground and fly away. Then I start the hey look at me see what I can do. Then I come back down and can't get off the ground again.
Enjoy your day.

I don't like bad dreams. Some seem too real. I used to have a lot of drinking abandonment dreams--left by people I love because they would rather drink than be with me.
