I was up late last night trimming about a million Greek Hamilton prints from a very large bound book. I was trimming them so late because yesterday we found out the wall paper hanger will be installing them today at a client's. Hamilton prints are done from drawings/paintings from Green vases and other works of art. They are mostly black and orange, black being the background color.
The prints are going in a couple's newly purchased home, in the foyer. The foyer is painted a terra cotta color and these prints will have a surrounding 1-1/2" frame of malachite wall paper. Malachite is a green and black stone in striaed curves. It will be shockingly chic!
These guys have great taste, and they have the sweetest Whippet named Maggie. But their grand old transitional style home smells like a fireplace. A damp, used fireplace.
So that's all I got this morning. I have a sinus headache and my neck and shoulder are tense. I am easing off the gratitude list today, but that doesn't mean I am not full of gratitude for the day, for a God of my understanding, for bloggers who inspire me and make me laugh and for all who say "Thank you" today.

Sounds like an interesting artsy decorating scheme. I know that musty fireplace smell. Old homes are like that.
