I am going to tell you this: there are no "rotten apples." There are only people who disagree with your point of view on things, people who construct a different model of the world. I am going to tell you this: no persons do anything inappropriate, given their model of the world. ~Meditations from Conversations with God
Today I am grateful...
- that I have an appointment this morning to have my hearing tested. It will show just how much hearing I have regained after my surgery in November. Then I meet with my new ENT or ortholaryncologist, if you prefer.
- that the weekend promises to be a little warmer and drier
- that in my dream this morning I was yelling at someone during a meeting that couldn't stay sober. I wouldn't do that in real life, although there have been many times I would have loved to--and think it was appropriate.
- that poor Mickey stopped by my blog yesterday and couldn't even get my name right, calling me William and Bill.
- for the chance to take a meeting to a new mother this weekend

I love to do hearing tests, pushing the little hand held button and sitting in the booth alone. How great that you are taking a meeting to someone who can't get to one!!!
Hi Scott. I am on the road and dropping by real quick to get an attitude adjustment while I can. Thanks for bringing a mini-meeting to me.
'otolaryngology' is one of my favorite words ever!
The reminder about "rotten apples" is good. Sometimes I think that someone is toxic and need to remind myself that I may not want to be around them but that they have the right to their viewpoint. I've been judged before and it doesn't feel good.
CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW???
I hope you passed your hearing test.
I'm not agreeing yet with that first quotation. There are people who deliberately do the wrong things and premeditate covering their tracks so they will not get caught.
Hey, dahlink, thanks for the tip on deleting comments. Yes, I do know how to do that with no trail of it. I loved both quotes. Tell the "new Mommy" hello for me.
My family complained I said "WHAT?" all the time. My excuse: "You're all mumbling! Speak louder, more Clearly!"
Blame, then shame because:
My hearing test was fine.
The audiologist wondered,
"Is it perhaps the A.D.D.
i.e. you're not paying attention?"
Oh, Right!
I now turn and LISTEN, taking the cotton out of my ears and sticking it my mouth!!
from a double winner!
