IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

You will never fully grasp the depth of life's richness. For the more of it you experience, the more of it there is. ~Ralph Marston
Today I am grateful...
  • that sobriety has taught me to be more flexible
  • that yesterday I ordered knee pads from Crocs.com. I cannot be on my knees without a whole lot of pain. No jokes, Dave.
  • for Internet shopping. Beats the hell out of going to a mall.
  • that my show is up through this weekend, then it comes down
  • that I was so tired last night I was in bed and asleep by 9:30 PM and slept soundly. Now it is cold in here, even with the heat on there is a chill around the edges, and I would dearly love to crawl back in bed with Bunny, but there is work to be done and I will have to eat some breakfast and get showered and report for duty, Sir.
Gratitude helps us stop trying to control outcomes. It is the key that unlocks positive energy in our life. It is the alchemy that turns problems into blessings, and the unexpected into gifts. ~Melody Beattie
Change. It's scary. It's hard. It's needed. Sometimes it feels bad. But one thing is for sure: it keeps on happening. Just when our life seems settled, it changes. We can't stop life. We can't stay this age forever. The world changes. Life moves on. There are always new things to do and learn. Changes means we're always beginners in some ways. We need to ask for wisdom and courage. We get it by listening, by praying, by meditating. When we ask, our Higher Power will teach us to be part of good changes. ~Keep It Simple

Crocs makes knee pads? I use a knee pad when gardening or doing extensive floor scrubbing.
Have a great Friday Scott.

Is is weird to be grateful for gratitude? I was thinking about the gifts that gratitude has brought to my life during my morning prayers. The quotation you included today captures my thoughts quite well.

What color knee pads did you order? Lime? Orange? I'll bet you ordered black. You ordered black, didn't you?

Holding in the jokes.
Agree with Bill, you bought black.
I don't like to think about you being cold :(

"It is the alchemy that changes problems into blessings." Thanks for the Melody. OK I have blue ones with hard plastic on the outside, and velcro. Handy to wear out working in the snow
