With God's help, I will build a protective screen around myself which will keep out all evil thoughts. I will fashion it out of my attitude toward God and my attitude toward other people. When one worrying or impatient thought enters my mind, I will put it out at once. I know that love and trust are the solvents for the worry and frets of life. Today I am grateful...
- for steps 3 and 11 which keep me online with HP
- for the flexibility in my jobs
- that I am hungry and have food in the house
- that these days I move through the world with an ease I never had in my drinking days or before
- that I could go shopping on Amazon last night while in my house clothes ;-)
- that my friend Negar is having her baby today
The other Steps can keep most of us sober and somehow functioning. But Step Eleven can keep us growing, if we try hard and work at it continually. ~As Bill Sees It
