There is not one blade of grass, there is no color in this world that is not intended to make us rejoice. ~John Calvin
Today I am grateful...
- for last night's speaker who reminded me of how I felt when I first got sober, that I had been given the resources to write the last chapters of my life
- that I love hearing when someone can relay their love of the program of Alcoholics Anonymous
- for current favorite music that makes my spirit soar
- that Bunny can be a spazzed out Tasmanian devil, but he melts my heart
- that I have felt better in my own skin lately than ever before in this lifetime
- that today is Sunday, and that is a good thing
Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. ~Martin Luther King, Jr
AA doesn't say we can't have personalities, it just says we put principles before them. ~Liz J.

I be so happy that me verbs and subjects doesn't need to agree.
I didn't know Buny was from TasMANIA. That explains a lot.
My personality changed into an ugly thing when I was an active alcoholic. I am so grateful that the fog is lifting each day, and I am able to experience laughter, adventure, and a genuine concern for others.
A sense of calm and lack of anxiety ain't bad, either.
This guy I work with had a dog like Bunny and used to bring him to the office sometimes. There was the domino effect of hearts melting as this little one zipped down the hallways at the speed of light.
That quote by Jill is priceless.
ooo I love the Liz J. quote.
Have a good Sunday!
thanks for your support yesterday. and thanks for the hugs where you just let me put my head on your shoulder.
I love all the "personalities" I have met in AA. The greatest people on earth!
Have a great Monday~
