His lone courage and unaided will cannot do it. Surely he must now depend upon Somebody or Something else. ~step three, 12 x 12
Today I am grateful...
- that I pushed myself yesterday and got a lot accomplished in getting the pieces ready to hang for the shop
- that two men, one older and one not much over twenty, walked into the gallery selling banana bread to support a men's center for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts. I asked then if they were in recovery--they were. When I asked them how much time they had you should have seen their faces light up, two months and two months. The older guy, who looked like he hadn't been off the street for very long said God was taking care of them. They were all smiles.
- that today I will hang most of the show, create the CV and later print the place cards for each piece
- that it is getting closer to the date
- that I have a real peace today that I am living, to the best of my ability, in my dharma (the moral law combined with spiritual discipline that guides one's life. Some consider dharma the very foundation of life.)
- that today is enough
....there isn't a guidebook for setting boundaries. Each of us has our own guide inside ourselves. If we continue to work at recovery, our boundaries will develop. They will get healthy and sensitive. Our selves will tell us what we need to know, and we'll love ourselves enough to listen. ~Beyond Codependency

Good story about the 2 men in recovery.
I am sure your stuff will be well hung by Saturday night.
That's a great story about the two fellows with the banana bread. i hope their smiles continue to shine.
And you know how I feel about bananananana bread.
You got a lot done yesterday! I'm very excited about your show, and I'll be there in spirit. I hope you enjoy every moment of preparation.
Dear Scott,
The telling of the two men brought a smile in my heart. Good for them. 2 months and they are trying to pass along the Blessings to others. I wish them success.
And you, I know your show is going to be a success. Because, Scott, you have put in the work to make it so.
You're the bomb !!
Love you.
Things are going into place, just like a mosaic.
