Frothy emotional appeal seldom suffices. The message which can interest and hold these alcoholic people must have depth and weight. In nearly all cases, their ideals must be grounded in a power greater than themselves, if they are to re-create their lives. ~from The Doctor's Opinion
Today I am grateful...
- that the headache I woke with is diminishing. This little cold thing I have doesn't seem to want to lessen its grip on me, though.
- that R and I started off the new year with some spiritual fortification at the meditation center
- that I saw my doctor on Monday and she was thrilled with my ear and its progress. I can now blow my nose with caution which has come in handy these past few days.
- that I have a lot of work to do these next few days to prepare for the show, but it will keep my mind occupied and not let stray thoughts take up much space
Each man's theology has to be his own quest, his own affair. ~As Bill Sees It

I'm glad you can finally blow it without blowing it.
I hope I can meet SOJO too.
"...to practice these principles in ALL our affairs."
Who'da thunk that would also mean re-learning how to blow your nose?
