IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Do not worry about how the good that has been planned for you will come.
It will come.
Do not worry, obsess, think you have to control it, go out hunting for it, or tangle your mind trying to figure out how and when it will find you.
It will find you.
Surrender to your Higher Power each day. Trust your Higher Power. Then, stay peaceful. Trust and listen to yourself. That is how the good you want will come to you.
Your healing. Your joy. Your relationships. Your solutions. That job. That desired change. That opportunity. It will come to you-- naturally, with ease, and in a host of ways.
That answer will come. The direction will come. The money. The idea. The energy. The creativity. The path will open itself to you. Trust that, for it has already been planned.
It is futile, a waste and drain of energy, to worry about how it will come. It is already there. You have it already. It is in place.
You just cannot see it!
You will be brought to it, or it will be brought to you.
~The Language of Letting Go

Today I am grateful...
  • that I realized early on in sobriety that I have to live a slow paced life to stay serene
  • that my serenity is second on my list after sobriety
  • that my bottom was what it was and didn't have to go any further down
  • that today will be filled with some work, some napping, some Christmas dinner at Mockingbird Bistro, some prayer and some love and trust in a Higher Power
  • for snail mail Christmas cards

If lovin' you is wro-o-o-o-ong, I don't wanna be right.

I'm going to plan on a relaxing day, and I'll stay peaceful so it can happen.
Meanwhile, my neighbor will be one big stress-ball as I drop her off at the train station. Guaranteed. It's just how she chooses to approach things in life. If it was me boarding a train, I'd be looking for Farley Granger.

If you folks have time to kill, go to my blog and take some holiday quizzes! Have a fun weekend!
