They didn't make a glass big enough for me to have one drink. ~Anonymous
Today I am grateful...
- that I fear less today than I would have ever dreamt
- that God doesn't do to me, or for me, but shines through me
- that today the weather is cool and clear and just absolutely lovely
- that today I am sober, a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, smoke free and grateful
In every A.A. story, pain has been the price of admission into a new life. But this admission price purchased more than we expected. It led us to a measure of humility, which we soon discovered to be a healer of pain. We began to fear pain less, and desire humility more than ever. ~12 & 12

Have a wonderful Friday in late December bro.
He didn't make a glass big enough, but He's allowed me to see the one I have as half-full, which is more than enough for me these days.
Thanks again, Scott, for helping to start this day off with gratitude.
Cheers, bro.
Happy Winter Solstice...a good day for staying in balance.
Maybe one of those old water towers...perhaps that would have held enough for one drink. With a huge toothpick and a mutant olive.
You're just jealous Mr. Above Ground Dweller ;)
Last year, they took me around to several of their friends homes and let me look in the basements. I don't know why people want to put their washers and dryers down there. I saw some basements that I would rather wear dirty clothes than go down there.
I hope you and and bunny get lots of treats for Christmas.
I, for one, love ginger snaps. Enjoy!
Pam, My house IS a basement. It's a basement house. Now who's jealous! hahahaha
A basement house???
Now that's great!
I could live in my in-laws basement. It's very comfortable and homey.
So I would guess that the washer and dryer is in your home.
Pam,
Yes, thank goodness we have washers and dryers here in the sticks of Kentucky! lol Our laundry room is so big it is used as a 3rd bedroom. You are welcome anytime!
