IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

the first of november

If you say the Lord's Prayer, be careful of saying the lines: 'Forgive my trespasses as I forgive those who trespass against me,' if there are people you haven't forgiven. Because you'll be asking God to do the same. ~Alkies Speak
Today I am grateful...
  • and honored that a program friend shared with me some things she cannot share with her family. Sometimes we just have to be there to listen, and if we can help we gladly do so.
  • that I can see the aura of the program extending around me
  • for the month of gratitude (November)
  • that solution based usually trumps fear based
  • that I am hungry, my stomach is growling, and that means I an not hungover and being repulsed by food
Today I am grateful for a new life, one in which my prayers are those of thanksgiving. My prayer time is more for listening than for talking. I know today that if I cannot change the wind, I can adjust my sail. I know the difference between superstition and spirituality. I know there is a graceful way of being right, and many ways to be wrong. ~ Daily Reflections

I am so thankful for your daily messages, and I probably don't tell you that as often as I should. Reading these is a highlight of each morning, and I always find something good to think about. Your site has also made me aware of the gifts that I receive when I give gratitude. God bless you, Scott!

Dear Scott,

Hi ! I got up very early, I am now more used to getting up.

I have missed reading your Blogs and staying in touch with you. I have missed YOU, period !
