Love given, and love received, is the essence of life itself. It is the universal common denominator, connecting us to those around us. Addiction deprived us of that connection, locking us within ourselves. ~Just for Today
Today I am grateful...
- that after spending forever online looking for frames for eight 8"x10" frames I found some perfect ones on ebay for only $7.99 each. Framing is so expensive!
- for those that go out and come back so I don't have to
- that I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could
- for the Ravi Shankar CD Vision of Peace: The Art of Ravi Shankar given to me by Randall. It has Raga Jogeshwari and Raga Hameer that I have on cassette tape and have been unable to find on CD. When I was working in the frame shop and things would get hectic I would play Ravi Shankar and within minutes the room would become peaceful.
- today my dad would have been 85

Happy Birthday Dad
I miss you
So
Dear Scott and Lisa,
Our Fathers were about the same age.
I'm soryy for your loss.
I miss my Dad too.
Love you both !
Happy Birthday to your dad.
Tomorrow, I turn 16, a true wonder.
Hope you are well, Scott.
You are right: fraiming can be very expensive!
Good to hear you found such a great bargin.
Happy Birthday to Scott and Lisa's Dad. I miss mine too.
I believe we all have more in common than we think. For example, in the secret life in my mind, I'm a painter. AA teaches me to look for common ground instead of differences, making me think that all world leaders should be in a 12-step program (...if only!).
Congrats to you, Scott, for both of your birthdays this month, and Happy Birthday remembrances of your dad.
Happy Bday to your Dad!
