IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

10.(09).08.07

If you're always chasing happiness, it will never be able to find you. Relax, simply give happiness a place to live in you, and it will be in great abundance.
Today I am grateful...
  • that I will do my best to stay centered and serene today
  • that this morning none of the furniture has mysteriously moved
  • that regardless of belief, a spiritual being is still a spiritual being
  • to be infinitely lovable by the One
  • for all who stop by here
  • that for every fear conquered a little more freedom finds its home
When you put conditions on enjoyment, it turns into just another chore. Let go, and sincerely enjoy the miracle that is your life as it comes to you in each moment. If you become overly attached to specific results, you set yourself up for disappointment and disillusionment. Be ambitious, yet do not be your ambition. ~today's quotes from Ralph Marston

I stopped by here to find out if your furniture has mysteriously moved.
Guess not.

I was just going to say - I am glad your furniture is not mysteriously moving around.

Bunny moves stuff around with his big powerful jaws.
I too am so glad to be infinitely lovable by the One.

In my drunk days some mornings I would discover that some of the furniture was in odd places. More likely from my running into stuff than feeling the urge to redecorate!

note to happiness: I will be at a 6:45am meeting and a 7:30pm meeting, but will be home otherwise.
Scott, your furniture was here at 3:30am, but I gave out candy and told it to go home.

so that is what comedian steven wright was talking about!!!!

i re-arrange my furniture so much, i'd like it to move itself :)
(moving furniture and organizing are things i learned to do in early sobriety in order to change my perspective.)
