Today I am grateful...
- that today is R's 50th birthday
- that I can recognize that my feelings were hurt last night and I felt really vulnerable
- that usually my mind is fairly clutter free so I can address things as they come up
- for easy to get over humps in the road
- for the unlimited inspiration the world offers
Here we are no longer children. Yet we’re not quite grown up either. At least, we don’t always feels grown up. Our program helps us accept the stages of our life. And the child in our heart is getting happier. In some ways, we feel younger everyday. We’re also starting to feel older and wiser. It feels good. We’re not so afraid of the world, because we’re learning better ways to live in it. We can learn by having friends who teach us to stay young at heart. ~Keep It Simple

Funny that you mention the disagreement. I had a mild one with a man in a grocery store parking lot on my way home from this morning's meeting. Plus side: I handled it WAY better than I would have before AA. Minus side: I could have handled it better. Conclusion: I'm making progress, but I'm not perfect. Progress feels good. I'll let Pam and Lisa handle your dude (or dudette)...I'm tapped out for the day. Have a nice Sunday, everyone.

you know i've been noticing grown up kids lately. meaning adults who act like children, not in a bad way but in an injured way. i take notice of stuff if it repeats itself to me several times. it's usually a hint for me to learn something or go to the next level.
