IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Guilt is really the reverse side of the coin of pride. Guilt aims at self-destruction, and pride aims at the destruction of others. ~Grapevine, June 1961

Today I am grateful...

  • that I was able to oversleep after waking at 5:30AM for a bathroom break
  • to watch Bunny entertain himself with a stuffed animal--just way too cute
  • that as much as I desperately wanted to be there, it's probably for the best that I did not make it to San Francisco, 40 years ago, for the Summer of Love
  • that to this day I love psychedelic music
  • for another sober Saturday
The moral inventory is a cool examination of the damages that occurred to us during life and a sincere effort to look at them in a true perspective. This has the effect of taking the ground glass out of us, the emotional substance that still cuts and inhibits. ~Bill W, 1957

I went to San Franciso about 8 months ago....I looked for my brothers and sisters of LOVE, but they had all been replaced by Chinese people...and all those gay folks of course. I love to watch Theo with a toy :)
