Recovery brings us into the sunlight. At first, we can't see a thing---it's too bright! The world stretches around us---it's so big! There are so many way to go! We don't know what to do. But our eyes get used to the light, and we feel the warm rays of the sun. We see we aren't alone anymore. We relax. We know our spirit is in a better place---a place where we can live! ~Keep It Simple
Today I am grateful...
- for the grace that allows me to experience the blessings of today
- for my sobriety
- for my serenity
- for my recovery
- that since I asked, my Higher Power will keep me sober today, unless I decide to take back my will
- to be allowed to practice restraint of pen and tongue
Knowledge of 'the answers' never made anyone relapse. It was failing to practice 'the answers' known. ~Anonymous

You are so sweet, Scott. I'm starting to understand the power of gratitude. Right now, I'm so grateful, I'm crying (I hope I don't short circuit my keyboard!).
I'm grateful not just for my sobriety but also because God has surrounded me with so many loving mentors whose only wish for me is to stay sober. It's overwhelming. I cannot say thank you enough...to EVERYONE in this online recovery community.
Peace out!
Kari
OH!
I get it.
You're a sleeping giant.
KARI - that's why they make those plastic covers for keyboards.
Today I can embrace the loving warmth of the sun, and share it with HUGS to my blogger buddies like you!
YOU are embraceable. Thank you.
