If you meet more than three assholes in one day, you need a meeting. If you meet more than four, you need a meeting and to call your sponsor. Any more than that and you better be reviewing Steps One, Two and Three real hard. ~Pocket Sponsor
Today I am grateful...
- for communication with Noor Azman Othman. Y'all call him Noor, but that is reserved for the feminine. His friends call him Azman.
- to have received a rebate check in the mail. It has been my experience that it is hit or miss with rebates.
- for prayers for Tammy Faye Bakker Messner. Her entire body is now riddled with cancer and she is down to 65 pounds. She was, early on, one of the only ones to embrace PWAs (people with AIDS).
- for a life rich with the texture of loving friends, sobriety, the fellowship of AA, laughter and a growing relationship with my Higher Power
Wherever there is true fellowship and love between people, God's spirit is always there as the Divine Third. In all human relationships, the Divine Spirit is what brings them together. When a life is changed through the channel of another person, it is God, the Divine Third, who always makes the change, using the person as a means. The moving power behind all spiritual things, all personal relationships between people is God, the Divine Third, who is always there. No personal relationships can be entirely right without the presence of God's spirit. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day

You know, I have grown to respect Tammy Faye in the past few years. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the heads up on Azman. Hope you and Bunny made it thru the storm last night OK.....sweet thang.
Thanks for the info. Noor is a bit feminine and it is usually reserve for the lay-dees. Now, Azman is more masculine, it fits right in!
Gosh I know I'm being redundant, but I love reading your gratitude list! Love to you and Bunny today Scott!
I'll say a prayer for Tammy Faye.
The pocket sponsor is so true!
love the pocket sponsor suggestions.
