IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

If we would favorably affect others, we ourselves need to practice what we preach--and forget the 'preaching,' too. The quiet good example speaks for itself. ~letter from Bill W., 1966
Today I am grateful...
  • or another fairly cool morning with below normal humidity for our walk
  • for healthier relationships
  • for the action of willingness
  • that most people pick up after their dogs
  • for the joy of watching Bunny strut down sidewalks, he doesn't miss a thing

The Idea of "doing impossible things" is fully covered in the Steps. We seek knowledge of "God's will for us and the Power to carry that out." This means that we'll find the where-withdrawal to do anything that belongs in our lives. Anything else is needless and perhaps even dangerous. ~Walk in Dry Places

As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do. ~Andrew Carnegie
