IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstance permit. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results. ~unknown
Today I am grateful...
  • for freedom from the bondage of nicotine
  • for willingness to keep my eyes open, I don’t want to miss that miracle
  • that patience in the creative process is rewarded
  • to be one link, in the long chain of recovery
  • that I grew up in a smallish town half-way between Possum Trot and Monkey's Eyebrow
I am only one,
But still I am one.
I cannot do everything,
But still I can do something.
And because I cannot do everything
I will not refuse to doThe something that I can do.
~Edward Everett Hale
