IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

05.02 = 07

We need to know we are part of a larger whole which has mysteries we cannot fully solve. When we identify our own ways of being spiritual, we can give them more respect. ~Touchstones
Today I am grateful...
  • for a very flexible schedule
  • for the matter of fact way I handled two things this morning: First, today's speaker called to cancel due to the fact she started a new job yesterday. Second, when there was a need for toilet paper and I picked it up out of the cabinet and discovered it was sopping wet I just threw it away, cleaned up the mess, placed the waste basket (after emptying it) under the pipes and knew that it would have to wait until tomorrow since I cannot be home today to meet a plumber. God will put someone in place today to tell their story and I will let the landlady know that a plumber needs to come tomorrow.
  • for the experience, strength and hope of those that have wandered the path ahead of me
  • for crazy newcomers
  • that above all else, sobriety comes first
Now, having had a spiritual awakening, having come to believe that a higher power can restore us, we possess a gift more powerful than the keenest insight--faith in our ability to grow and change. We are children of God. All the creative power of the universe streams through us, if we don't block it. ~Each Day a New Beginning

Plumbing "issues" are really a trial for me. Glad you are not letting these things influence how you feel about 05.02=07 (cool)

One of the greatest gifts God(and my husband) has given me is a flexible schedule so I can learn from(and deal with) crazy newcomers.
