It takes a lot of courage to stay sober. And if you don't have it, get it from the person sitting next to you, so you can recover for one more day. ~Patti O.
Today I am grateful...
  • for my golden hour (see below)
  • that I am now connected instead of disconnected
  • that the aches and pains of being human are decreasing
  • for the privilege of recovery
  • for freedom of choice
Invest the first hour of the day, the 'Golden Hour,' in yourself. ~Brian Tracy
Ask and you shall receive,
Seek and ye shall find,
Knock and it shall be opened unto you.
~Matthew 7:7

Scott-never thought of our recovery as a priviledge, but it truly is a gift. How true is that saying that "The measure that we give is the measure that we receive." When we give up our lives and our wills to our HP, look at what we receive. Have a great weekend. Allan

Wow.
I've been practicing the golden hour without even knowing it had a name.

I had a teacher in christian school that absolutely loved the cong that came from that verse. I hated that teacher when I was in school, but now that I am many years older and back in school I look at him as the man who taught me the most in my life....hmmm
