In my recovery I am beginning to understand that so much "power" in the world is really fear. The power that seeks to attack first in order to feel secure is really fear. The power that always has to have an answer is really fear. The power that arrogantly refuses to listen is really fear. So much power is "fear" dressed in illusion!
Today I am grateful...
- that my Higher Power is not vengeful, damning or judgemental
- to have a sustained, keen interest in recovery
- that IT will be what IT will be
- for gentle understandings at the hands of my HP
- for emails from JJ
- for the daily rotations of the Promises at work
Spiritual power has the ability to be vulnerable. It can live with confusion. It can stand alone. It allows others to walk away to pursue their happiness. Spiritual power can exist in suffering and loneliness, and it does not expect perfection.

The relationship between "power" and "fear" reminds me of the Star Wars entity and how Darth Vador has a false illusion in believing the power of the darkside.
In all I am learning it is a true soul sickness, and trusting in a HP can eliminate this fear.
I know I have said this before but I really enjoy seeing your spirituality and peace you have in your life.
Today I posted about love and fear, from my Daily Reflection's book. I too love your spirituality and hope, you are amazing, Scott!
