Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum

Here is the interior of the museum Matt and I visited yesterday. It is a steel structure inside a concrete structure. Inside the steel structue is the frosted glass chapel that houses a domed fresco and another partial fresco. It is superbly exquisite and has a serenity and a simplicity I find absolutely inspiring. His mother, Dominique, was one of the most important collectors of contemporary art. The Menil Collection museum is of her own making.
