Today--and every day--with a heart full of gratitude, and a desire for God's will to be done through me, my life is worth sharing, especially with my fellow alcoholics! Above all, if I do not make a religion out of anything, even A.A., then I can be an open channel for God's expression. ~Daily Reflections
Today I am grateful...
- for the renewal of my health card
- that DS and I met this artist, Sharon Kopriva at her studio which is beside her husband's gallery, Red Bud Gallery. Her art is stunning as is her dog, Pluto.
- for the art of Jimmy Pena on display at Red Bud Gallery. He is almost disabled with arthritis and produces these huge charcoal drawings on wood. The wood grain becomes part of the image. Fascinating art.
- that I have seen so much good art lately, it really has inspired me
- that you and I have each other and we do not have to do this alone
Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold, but let God remold your minds from within, so that you may prove in practice that the plan of God for you is good, meets all His demands, and moves toward the goal of true maturity. ~Romans 12:2
