Today I am grateful...
- that yesterday was full and productive and that we made the round trip safely
- that I learn something every day
- to have been returned to a nice semblance of sanity
- for a Higher Power that walks with me every day
- for Serenity Prayers in elevators
- that the program of AA has changed my thought process
Peace comes in stages. As we continue to accept our powerlessness, the depth of our peace increases. Turning more often to a power greater than ourselves eases our resistance to whatever condition prevails. I have always thought that all of us learn something every day. Oft times, though, we fail to realize or recognize it.
I keep going back and looking at that gorgeous table. Learning is growing, my sister says the best way to learn is to SHUT UP. I agree, but that is hard for ole motormouth here to do.
