IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

There are two ways to slide easily through life: To believe everything or to doubt everything. Both ways save us from thinking. ~Alfred Korzybski
Today I am grateful...
  • to have fallen asleep last night to the soft sounds of the rain
  • that my expanding heart is the proof that I am in conscious contact
  • for flexibility when plans change
  • for the way my life flows
  • that I constantly consider myself to be a lucky man
It's never too late to enjoy sobriety. Gone are the cravings and the preoccupation with the 'next drink.' I feel and look a lot better. My step is lighter, my mind is clearer. The depression and the gloom are gone. I feel much more at peace with myself and -- more importantly -- with others. I no longer feel the need to please others to prove myself. Yet I get much satisfaction from helping others, especially when done anonymously. ~A.A. for the Older Alcoholic - Never Too Late

With a lot of luck, maybe someday I will be an older alcoholic.

Sheesh! I nearly missed this post. Didn't see the small lettering. I'm sure wouldn't want to miss the to believe or to doubt everything!

Peace be with you, Scott W.
