In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth. ~Mahatma Gandhi
Today I am grateful...
- for another day on the path
- for the grace of a Higher Power with which to experience this day
- for the love I am given, shown and taught
- for the incredible heart opening experiences I have had in recovery
You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you. ~Sarah Ban Breathnach

I love Sarah Ban Breathnach. She had that book a few years ago that I simply loved, and I carried it everywhere like it was my bible. Thanks for reminding me about it...I'm going to find it and give it a look. I'm sure it will mean more to me now that I'm sober.
Have a rad day!
Wow that quote really touched me this morning, thanks for that Scott. When I first got sober (this time) I committed to writing a gratitude list every morning. At times I was hard pressed to find anything to be grateful for. So I required me to find at least five things...sure enough the more I saw, the more I saw.
Every day today is better than the last!
I'm a fan of Breathnach too...
Not so crazy about her newest book though... Something about the home...
Have a great Sunday, Scott!
Thank you for sharing, Scott W. (Another book on my list.)
