IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else. ~Judy Garland
Today I am grateful...
  • that I successfully tweaked my template last night
  • that not being too politically astute, I generally keep my mouth shut. But this article got my attention to some secret stuff going on within our corporatocracy. (make sure to read some of the comments)
  • to wish Mary a Happy Birthday!
  • for the fun and fantastic dream I had this morning. Lambda Center was hosting a large AA conference, there were people from all over here and I had lent a lot of stuff to the process. During the dream several unrelated things happened: my bed was on wheels and I wheeled it all over the place--through loft spaces and down streets, I left Bunny at the center to be cared for, my computer's wires were cut but somehow the thing still worked and it was a tiny, little laptop, I lost my cell phone and couldn't call my old friend Carole who was to be there--I even spoke to her nonexistent son, went to buy stamps and the guy knew from my address I was gay, I had lost my wallet and was fumbling with change to pay and he would only sell me two sheets instead of the single stamp I wanted, when I went to the car it was a large white Maserati with plates from Florida (South Beach in particular). What a funny little dream to start my day.
  • for the incredible power I find in just remembering God

At once, I became a part--if only a tiny part--of a cosmos.... As Bill Sees It, p. 225

I will be more afraid of spirit-unrest, of soul- disturbance, of any ruffling of the mind, than of earthquake or fire. When I feel the calm of my spirit has been broken by emotional upset, then I must steal away alone with God, until my heart sings and all is strong and calm again. Uncalm times are the only times when evil can find an entrance. I will beware of unguarded spots of unrest. I will try to keep calm, no matter what turmoil surrounds me. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day

The new template is awesome! I also like the 24 Hours quote; I read it this morning and NEEDED to read it. I guess HP is making sure I pay attention by having you post it too and having me read it here, lol.
