Today I am grateful...
- for my first meeting with my new sponsor
- for prayers and answers
- that Pam and Laura joined us last night at Lambda where we heard a great qualification and had a great Mardi Gras Parade
- that my sobriety is not about whining and complaining
- that next Saturday night I have a date with a woman for dinner and a play

Laura and I had a grand time last night. She went on and on about how much fun it was. Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and "a part of".....especially Laura.

No whining or complaining?
MC, well maybe a little here and there, but I was referring to sitting beside someone last night that constantly whines and complains. It just made me grateful I don't do that all the time.
A gift to be able to learn from others and have the desire to embrace our lives. I am experiencing this right now with my friend "M" that went out again. This time, I could really see her unwillingness and lack of desire to change.
