Today I am grateful...
  • for morning silence save only the sound of the tumbling clothes dryer
  • that if I pay enough attention today will teach me something I didn't know or perceive yesterday
  • that God did not remove all my character defects, instead I was given the ability to recognize some when they surface and ways to deal with them appropriately
  • that when I detach from the craziness of this world the more peace I find

I find the dryer sound very soothing.

Clothes in the dryer, this is a new but beautiful concept to be grateful about. I would relate it to a comfort sound, like when growing up.

2 weeks ago Mitch put his tennis in the dryer. It sounded like a dead body in it. I had to remove them. Did not want a sick dryer. :)
