IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

When a man has pity on all living creatures, then only is he noble. ~Buddha
Today I am grateful...
  • for Visine-A eye drops and Afrin nasal spray
  • for trust in and the resources I get from my Higher Power
  • that I don't live in upstate NY where there is 100" of snow
  • for days that end with "y"
  • for days that begin and end with a prayer of gratitude
  • that I never fell for the belief that I was born a sinner
You will feel powerless at times, yet once you live through your withdrawal and early confusing recovery, your resiliency to endure, survive, and thrive will amaze you. You are in a unique position to learn from this, turn around, and offer help to others. You are, at this very moment, learning skills that will help other addicts and alcoholics in the future. This is a gift. ~Reflections for Beginners

Come to think of it, all days end with "day", too...

Profound!

oh...when you are still grateful for "medicine", then I take it you still aren't feeling like yourself. Man this chest thing...is really hanging on! Keep getting rest and take care of yourself! I wish Bunny could wait on you hand and foot!

I too am grateful for the fact I don't live in upstate NY. I used to live in Western NY, I recall as a Jr High kid having snow deeper than I was tall, on several more than one occasion... that would happen at least once a winter...
