IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Rock bottom: When things got worse faster than I could lower my standards. ~Anonymous
I am grateful...
  • that Matt is a fun girl (see previous post comments)
  • to have been given access to a new light
  • that communication with a Higher Power is easy for me
  • for instant messaging
  • that I can look at the past, but it is rude to stare at it
  • for prayers of acceptance, honesty and a daily reprieve from alcohol
  • for increasing love for my self, your self and the great self

God finds, amid the crowd, a few people who follow Him, just to be near Him, just to dwell in His presence. A longing in the Eternal Heart may be satisfied by these few people. I will let God know that I seek just to dwell in His presence, to be near Him, not so much for teaching or a message, as just for Him. It may be that the longing of the human heart to be loved for itself is something caught from the Great Divine Heart. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day

"I said to a man who stood at the gate of the new year: Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown." And he replied, "Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than a light and safer than a known way." ~Minnie L. Haskins

I loved the first one about lowering my standards...THAT was me! Will I see you tonight at the 6:30 meeting? My daughter picked up a desire chip this morning, and she may come with me.
