IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

One way to lower your stress level is to get away from it all. Another way is to get ok with it all. ~Ralph Marston
Today I am grateful...
  • that it's Saturday, I am up early and will go into Lambda and to the bookkeeping, the 8:30 AM meeting, then meet with the corporate treasurer and the CPA to do year-ends and taxes
  • for a day with unlimited possibilities lying ahead of me
  • that I paid attention to the news this morning and now know my route to Lambda will be blocked off tomorrow for a marathon in which I won't be running
  • that I finally plucked a thorn from my side and that is one more issue I no longer carry with me, there was nothing I could do about it anyway...duh
  • that more than likely you will have a great weekend

Treat the other man's faith gently; it is all he has to believe with. ~Henry Hoskins

In sobriety, we can free ourselves from an unreasonable desire for approval. When we learn to like ourselves more, we do not need constant reassurance and applause from others. We may also discover that we have been doing certain things against our will simply because we wanted somebody's approval. This is our fault, not theirs, and we can get such practices out of our lives when we no longer need them. ~Walk in Dry Places

Every morning, you list something that I am grateful to read, and I appreciate that on several levels. PS: Walk in Dry Places is one of my favorite morning Meditation Books :)...have a good Saturday.
