Word Verification, et al

I turned on word verification for a few days to try and get rid of the incredible amount of spam I am getting. I wouldn't mind so much, but most of the spam was for internet drugs. Not here, deary, that's just wrong. So today I switched back to the old way and we'll see what happens.

I am grateful I can see your blog. I couldn't earlier.
I love you Scott.

I am getting hit hard too. It is annoying because I HATE word verification, I can't read those cryptic words.

Spam sucks. I don't like having to use word verification, either, but it certainly does help in blocking spam (I've heard it's good with eggs and in casseroles, though).

[Hey, did you turn it off? 'Cuz it didn't make me do the word verification thingy to preview.]

Spam Whores! Pardon my language.

My blog is getting hit, I gotta seek some plug ins. I just wonder how they continue to do that, do people really repsond and buy whatever they are selling. Baffling!
