Everyone wants to be appreciated, so if you appreciate someone, don't keep it a secret.--Mary Kay Ash
The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.--Anna Quindlen
Today I am grateful...
- that I rescheduled the Dr appointment yesterday after I arrived and was told they had canceled--without incident on my part
- that I will get to a meeting today after four days absence
- that my usual schedule allows me to attend a meeting a day
- that I WANT to attend a meeting a day, something I never thought I would ever be open to
- that there is oatmeal cooking for breakfast
- that I don't have to put away any Christmas ornaments
Build your life on the firm foundation of true gratitude to God for all His blessings and true humility... Build the frame of your life out of self-discipline, never let yourself get selfish or lazy or contented with yourself. Build the walls of your life out of service to others, helping others find the way to live. Build the roof of your life out of prayer and quiet times, waiting for God's guidance from above. Build a garden around your life out of peace of mind and serenity and a sure faith. ~Twenty-Four Hours a Day

We've been missing you -- but eventually, our aim shall get better.
I'm so glad I didn't decorate for Christmas...I see these people taking lights off their house and giggle to myself.

I appreciate you and your art.
We still have our Christmas decor up, I love it! But I totally understand your point, I will have a Christmas hangover with all the glitter and glam gone.
