IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Acknowledging how close we all are, instead of clinging to what separates us, enables us to feel less alone in the world. Every person we meet, see, hear, or read about, is a member of our family. We are truly not alone. We also begin to see that we are perfectly capable of understanding and relating to people who, on the surface, may seem very different from us. This awareness prevents us from disconnecting from people on the other side of the tracks, and the other side of the world. We begin to understand that we must treat all people for what they are—family. ~Today's DailyOm
Today I am grateful...
  • that I believe I am here for a reason: to love myself and others
  • that I have learned to accept myself
  • that with self-acceptance comes self-respect
  • that what I do has an effect on others, that I am apart of other's lives and they a part of mine
  • that I have begun to trust
  • that faith springs from the foundation of trust

They didn't make a glass big enough for me to have one drink. ~Unknown

Oh my goodness, it's Dad, Mom, Aunt Bo and Aunt Bee!! Mom of course is the stylish one in the stretch pants. I would guess Aunt Bo is in the wig and smoking the loooooooooooong cigarette.

Great photo
