We avoid hysterical thinking or advice. ~Pgs. 69-70, How It Works
Today I am grateful...
- that I only have to have my experience
- that if I can help you with your experience I hope you will let me know
- that I have heard some new, modern Christmas music this year that I actually like
- to have seen a dining table I drew, with it's carved legs and inlaid top, be completed and ready for staining and finishing
- that design continues to fascinate me
- that I wouldn't trade today for anything
We feel as though we had been placed in a position of neutrality - safe and protected. We have not even sworn off. Instead, the problem has been removed. It does not exist for us. We are neither cocky nor are we afraid. That is our experience. That is how we react so long as we keep in fit spiritual condition. ~Pgs. 84-85, Into Action

"that I only have to have my experience"...wow, so simple, but right where I'm at. I'm experiencing other peoples stuff right now....and it's hurting my heart. Thanks for the reminder to turn them over to God.
Congrats on the Christmas music.
I love those 7 sentences from INTO ACTION. That is how I feel, but does that mean I'm recovered?
i love your quotes. you always have such simple, yet profound, blogs entries. good job, scotty. i love you.
got any pics of the table, i'd LOVE to see it!!!!
David, when the finishing is done I will try to get a photo before it goes to the client.
avoiding anything that is hysterical is good ahhahahha
I can appreciate Christmas music for about 10 minutes (for the entire season). After that, I'm reaching for the icepick to rupture my eardrums.
It might have something to do with the fact that I used to be a DJ at a Christian radio station back in the late 80's...back when I was Christian.
Peace,

I have from time to time wanted to send you an email....but when I click on your email under profile the page won't display.
