When I touch someone else, God touches me in return. ~Each Day a New Beginning
Today I am grateful...
Today I am grateful...
- that late yesterday afternoon my back eased up a bit, after several naps. This morning it continues to feel better, but it is still mysterious. The low grade fever I had yesterday afternoon is gone and it seems the whole thing might be lung related.
- that the most odd sounds I heard upon awakening, inside the apartment, were from the ceiling fan blowing some paper in a waste can Bunny had tipped over
- for the rich and emotional conversation with my earthfriend Jim last night. The things we have shared over the years gave rise to a great friendship long ago, today we nourish it by the total honesty we share.
- that I say "Yes" a lot more often today than in the past, and that I am not afraid to say "No"
The newcomers ask; "How do I stay out of sexual relationships in early sobriety?" Sort of an 11th Step; 'Prayer and masturbation'. ~Fred
Our greatest strengths taken too far become our greatest defects and our greatest defects tamed, become our virtues. Wrongly used, honesty can become brutal confrontation, nurturing can become “I’ll fix you,” and consistency can become inflexibility. I examine my Fourth Step list and see how, properly used, each fault becomes a feature I desire. ~Pocket Sponser

Love the newcomer item. I will pass that along to him.
Love you,
So
That Fred was such a teaser.
Seriously. My hand and I have become so well acquainted that we are planning a small ceremony on the beach. We are registered at Hollywood Gifts and Video.
On a more serious note, let's take the dogs to the dog park!
Glad that your back is feeling better, I know how frustrating back pain can be espicially when you want a good nights sleep.
Love that quote by Fred. :)
