IF THE ONLY PRAYER YOU SAID IN YOUR LIFE WAS "THANK YOU", THAT WOULD SUFFICE. ~Meister Eckhart

Soggy Monday

I pray to see the path God lights for me as I am at times blinded by my own lack of consciousness or lack of faith. ~Shelley
Today I am grateful...
  • to wake during the night to the soft flashes of lightening and the drone of falling rain
  • that this morning when it was time for Bunny to go outside, the rains had taken a short break
  • for work opportunities this past weekend
  • to be back on a nightly schedule of dinner and TV
  • for yesterday morning's meeting on new and/or important relationships in sobriety. The fellowship has to be one of the greatest gifts to me, that I can associate with people and feel comfortable. To practice letting go of what people will think and just be able to be in the moment. To feel a part of instead of apart from.
  • that I am no longer afraid of the public (well, not completely fearless, but much improvement has been made in this area)
Those who walk with God always get to their destination. ~Unknown

I absolutely LOVE the thoughts from Unknown. They are pretty smart!!! Nice warm and fuzzy feelings for a nasty rainy day.

Tab, it's later in the day and there is water ponding at the front door so Bunny refuses to go out. He will have to wait to relieve himself until later.

Kenny, I have grapes for feeding too. A man after my own heart.

The Weather Channel shows so much rain around, it's quite remarkable. I was driving earlier and could hardly see the road and of course people freak out and just stop, so had to look out for them.

There is a pillow calling my name.

"Scott. Scott," said the pillow.

You know, I can see all the growth and progress you have made in a year. Life keeps getting better for you, I see, Scott, one day at a time.

Grapes are good but I like Ritz crackers. The crumbs add a certain frisson under the duvet. Lol.

Yeah. The lightening and rain have been nice but hopefully will get a break for a while. Hope your well. Love you.

We are getting all of that rain now, thanks for sending it over :)

I really want to try and do this:
